RAF Association Liaison Officers
RAF Association Liaison Officers – a vital link to serving RAF personnel
While all our members and supporters are important to us, we are naturally particularly keen on gaining membership and support from within the Royal Air Force including both Regular and Reserves. Our Royal Air Forces Association Liaison Officers (RAFALOs) play a key role in supporting this relationship.
These Officers’ roles include raising awareness of the RAF Association with serving personnel, recruiting new members, attending Branch and Area meetings, working with Branches on Wings Appeal and other fundraising activities, and recruiting serving RAF personnel to support these activities.
Our RAFALOs also organise and take part in Fundraising events on station, and assist the Association with the essential work that it undertakes for the RAF family, both in terms of welfare assistance and doing what they can to enhance RAF camaraderie.
There are RAFALO representatives on our Council and Officers also speak at our Annual Conference to share the views of Serving personnel and help influence the development of the Association.
