Providing independent living with dignity and care
The RAF Association has three beautiful supported houses situated across the UK. Friendly, welcoming and homely, moving to one of our three homes enablesformer service personnel to live independent lives, safe in the knowledge that there is on-site warden help available at all times should it be needed.
This accommodation is available to all ex-RAF Service men or women, their widows and widowers at normal retirement age. It is designed to encourage independence within a family atmosphere and a caring community.
We manage two sheltered houses: Dowding House, which is situated in the country town of Moffat, Scotland and Tedder Court in Rothbury, Northumberland. We also have Wexford House (which also provides assisted living and meals) in Melton Mowbray.
