TCW & 90SU Memorial

The TCW & 90SU Memorial was commissioned in 2008 to remember those who have died whilst serving or have formerly served at both 90 Signals Unit and Tactical Communications Wing (TCW).  Located at the entrance to the RAF Section of the National Memorial Arboretum (NMA) it comprises of a large Cotswold stone boulder with a York stone inlay depicting the RAF Crest and both Unit Crests.  To the front of the memorial is placed a York stone tablet and individual bricks depicting the names of those the Unit remembers.  In addition a stone has been placed at the front of the Memorial to remember all those that have died after they retired from the Royal Air Force.

RAF Association Remembrance Garden

The RAF Association Remembrance Garden is located just a few minutes’ walk from the awe-inspiring Armed Forces Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas, Staffordshire.  Opened in September 2009, the garden is dedicated to all those who selflessly devoted their lives to their country, regardless of the length of service.
Family, friends, colleagues or anyone wishing to celebrate the life of a person or organisation associated with the RAF may place one of our specially-designed remembrance crosses or stones in the garden.
