When: September 2020 (500 places available)
Registration Fee: £12.00
September 2020 marks 80 years since the RAF won the Battle of Britain.
To commemorate this decisive turning point of World War Two, we’re challenging you to cover as many miles as you can during September. One target you could aim for is to match the number of years since the Battle of Britain – 80 miles – but any distance is appreciated.
This challenge is open to everyone. You can run, walk or cycle the distance – or a combination of all three. As a virtual challenge, you can complete your miles wherever you are in the country, at the gym, at home or out in the open air; whichever you prefer.
You can also break down your sessions however you like, as long as they take place during September. At the end of the month you’ll earn your own commemorative medal.
By entering into this special challenge, the RAF Association receive a minimum of 20 per cent of your entry fee as well as any funds you manage to raise for us. These funds help us to support the welfare work we provide to the whole of the RAF family
