Rutland Border Epique RAF100
Date: 10 June
Location: Rutland
Minimum fundraising target – £100 + Registration
Be inspired by some of the most stunning countryside England has to offer on this classic bike ride around Rutland Water in this, the centenary year of the RAF.
In this year of the RAF centenary, we want 100 cyclists to take part in this fantastic event and raise £100 for the charity.
“Please join me in the RAFA supported team of 100 riders cycling 100 miles in the Centenary of the Royal Air Force and pledge to raise £100 each to help the Royal Air Force’s family of yesterday, today and tomorrow in their time of need.
“Together we can reach our target of £10,000, get fitter and have a great day out in Rutland. Its open to all – serving, retired, families, friends and anyone from the UK who wants to support the Royal Air Force Family. I look forward to seeing you all there.”
Air Vice-Marshal Gary Waterfall
All participants who register will get:
This event combines the two major concerns of the cyclist – riding and eating. This event has ‘real’ food at the feedstations, such as pizza, sausage rolls etc, and a BBQ and a beer and finishers’s medal at the end all included,
Although the event itself is of a non-competative nature but it is classed as a difficuly event and will be a personal challenge… Are you up for THAT challenge?
