is back for 2019
This fun family event is being held within the grounds of three operational Royal Air Force stations:
Join us and the RAF for some colourful mayhem!
This year’s fantastic Colour Chaos charity fun runs are at RAF Cosford, RAF College Cranwell and RAF Wittering. Come along and we’ll shower you with colour along the course…you’re guaranteed to look very bright by the time you reach the finish line.
Kids will love it too. There WILL be colour cannons! They WILL get messy! Plus, there’s a free t-shirt for everyone who takes part.
Tickets are only £10 per person, and we have an early bird deal of £35 for a family of five – so book now to avoid disappointment.
Under 5s are free of charge and you can come along in fancy dress.
We would also love you to get sponsored so we can raise money to support the RAF family when they need our help.
Get your mates or family together and come and play.
What is it?
Each Colour Chaos run is 5km of fun. You’ll pass through colour stations all along the course – and at each station we’ll shower you with colour powder paint. You’ll eventually end up all the colours of the rainbow.
On the day:
– Book in at registration
– Stock up on your Colour Chaos tutus, bandanas, sunglasses etc.
– Warm up with the RAF fitness team to some fun music
– Begin your colour collection with a rainbow at the start line
You can run, jog, dance, walk… in fact complete it any way you like…it’s all about the fun and what gives you the biggest smiles! One thing will happen for sure… you’ll look very colourful at the end!
How much is it?
Tickets are only £10 per person, and we have an early bird deal for a family of five at £35 – so book now to avoid disappointment.
Under 5s are free of charge.
As a charity event, we need to try and cover our costs while fundraising money for a good cause. We’d love for you to get sponsored and have a go at fundraising for us, and to help make things simple we have a dedicated Just Giving page for you to link to.
What are we raising money for?
We’re the charity that supports the RAF family. When one of the RAF family needs a friend, they turn to us. That’s because we can be there on the doorstep, in person, to help sort out the problem and share the load. When times are tough nothing beats friendly, face-to-face support from someone who really cares.
How your fundraising helps us to make a difference:
£25 could help someone with severe mobility problems travel to a respite care break
£50 could help a child missing an RAF parent feel a little happier thanks to a special bedtime story
£100 could help to fund a respite care break for someone suffering from a serious illness or someone who has recently lost a loved one
£250 could provide training for a volunteer welfare officer, enabling over 350 members of the RAF family to get the support they need within their own community
£750 could pay for the refurbishment of one guest bedroom in one of our respite care homes
£1,000 could fund our injury benefit and war pensions advice service for a week, assisting those in financial hardship
All RAF, the public and children can join in
The course is fully accessible, however, please be aware there might be a few uneven areas along the way, the route includes hard standing and grass.
Pushchairs and young children
The course is accessible and everyone is welcome. You could even get the children dressed up in fancy dress!
At the finish
Our cheer team will be there to welcome you across the finish line, when you will be awarded an exclusive commemorative medal.
