The RAF Association will commemorate Remembrance Day for all those who have fallen in service of their country with an online act of remembrance.
To say this has been a challenging year would be something of an understatement. Many of the things we would not think twice about doing are now either not permitted or are very difficult to achieve satisfactorily under lockdown restrictions.
One such event, an important landmark in the calendar of all those who are serving or who have served in Her Majesty’s Armed Forces, is the annual act of remembrance on 11 November. While small groups are still able to come together, this will not be the same as standing shoulder to shoulder with comrades to commemorate the lives of all who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving their country.
We recognise how strongly our Association’s members feel about joining others to mark this important day, and will therefore be streaming a special short act of remembrance online on Wednesday 11 November 2020 at 1130 hrs.
