After much anticipation, the Association’s newest ducks have landed. The set of three, specially created to mark the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, have pulled up to the flight line in red, white and blue Spitfires. Each pilot sports a stylish moustache, white silk scarf, leather hat and goggles.
Over the years the ducks have been adopted for various activities and challenges; from accompanying a fundraiser as she trekked across the Sahara Desert to raise vital money for the Association, to annual duck races in rivers across the country. RAFA’s ducks are also a firm favourite in members’ and supporters’ homes – and these latest additions are set to fly off the shelves!
