Adult Mental Health First Aid Lite (MHFA Lite)
Mental health problems are common. In any one year approximately one in four British adults experience at least one diagnosable mental health problem, and the World Health Organisation forecasts that by 2020 depression will be the second leading contributor to the global burden of disease. The long standing stigma around mental health problems means that many people have a limited understanding of mental ill health.
MHFA Lite course is an introductory three hour mental health awareness course.

The three hour session is delivered in a mix of presentations, group interaction and activities. Due to some of the sensitive subjects of the course, the number of delegates is limited to 25. We want everyone to feel safe and our instructor’s can help is people find some parts particularly difficult.
You’ll receive a MHFA Lite manual that you can take away with you at the end of the session and an attendance certificate from MHFA England.
The course is for everyone ages over 16 and above and you don’t need any qualifications or experience in mental health to take part.
