Wings Appeal Workshops 2008

Throughout summer 2007 RAFA held a series of Wings Appeal Workshops around the UK. Following on from this success, a further series of Workshops are planned for 2008.

The aim of the day will be, once again, to involve Branch members who are actively involved with the Wings Appeal to share their experiences with members from other Branches. We are always keen to hear what you have achieved and for you to share your experiences with us all.

This year we will be updating you on fundraising initiatives currently being developed by the team here at CHQ that will provide Branches with opportunities to raise funds for Wings Appeal. The following topics will be included but are not exhaustive:-

• Weekly Lottery
• New merchandise
• Schools Fundraising
• Update on Brew for the Few - 2007 successes
• How can we help you?

• Wednesday 18th June 2008 - Huyton with Roby RAFA Club Northern Area
• Thursday 19th June , 2008 - Yeadon RAFA Club Northern Area
• Tuesday 24th June , 2008 - St Neots RAFA Club South East & Eastern Area
• Wednesday 25th June 2008 - Bognor Regis RAFA Club South East & Eastern Area

• Media Opportunities – how CHQ is making the most of media opportunities during 2008. How branches can too.
