Our work with the RAF
The RAF Association is here for the entire RAF Family: whether they have served their country and are now retired,or they are currently serving.
With a number of other charitable organisations and the RAF Families Federation, we help provide a network of support for serving personnel on bases across the UK, around the world, and for those in conflict zones.
Creating a strong sense of community and network of support is vital to ensuring that we have an effective, focussed Royal Air Force. With the knowledge that such strength of support is available to their families, personnel are in a better position to give their total commitment to the task – especially important in the tense and sometimes life-threatening situations our Forces are required to attend.
The RAF Association is deeply involved in helping maintain this strong sense of community, and we provide support in many ways: from our work with the RAF Families Federation, to providing Liaison Officers on bases, to helping build decent recreation facilities and sponsoring RAF sports teams
