If you’re thinking of taking on a personal challenge this year, we are organising a number of amazing fundraising challenges that you might like to be a part of.
Whether you’d like to take part in a fun run or marathon, get on your bike for the RAF and pedal to Paris, or even jump out of a plane for us, join in the challenge on behalf of the RAF Association’s Wings Appeal and make it a year to remember.

Our sponsored challenges and fundraising events
Throughout the year, the RAF Association organises a number of events to raise funds for its welfare work. We have events and sponsored challenges that take place both throughout this country and abroad that you can participate in to raise money on our behalf.
Come and join in the fun as part of our Wings Appeal team, take part in the UK’s most prestigious events whilst fundraising for a great charity.
We have places in events reaching the four corners of the UK: from taking part in runs such as the prestigious Virgin London Marathon or the Great North and Great South Runs, where family and friends can see you push yourself to the limits from great vantage points; catering for the north of the border we have the Edinburgh Marathon Weekend, where you can run in the half marathon or push yourself to the max by challenging yourself in the full marathon.
Running not your thing? Take part in the capital’s cycling event, touring London throughout the night with a host of celebrities.
Or what about a challenge of a lifetime and skydive for us! Available through centres around the UK, you could challenge each of your friends to take the fear test…
