How We Can Help You:
As time progresses, the needs of the RAF family have changed and the RAF Association continues to expand its welfare services working closely with the RAF Community Support Team to develop new initiatives and to help both the serving community and veterans alike.
With a UK-wide caseworker network of over 600 volunteer Honorary welfare officers undertaking almost 25,000 welfare visits annually. Help ranges from conversation and friendship to preparing and submitting application forms for financial assistance.
If you are interested in becoming an HWO, please contact the Area Welfare Officer closest to your home, details below.
We provide this service to all who are serving or have served – you do not need to be a member of the RAF Association to become eligible for this help. Further to this the RAF Association is in the process of training new Caseworkers to compliment the existing HWOs and work in the areas where there is little or no HWO coverage.
Who do I contact?
There are nine regional Area Welfare Officers who will organise for your local Honorary Welfare Officer or RAF Association Caseworker to visit you and identify your needs so we can support and advise as necessary.
If you would like to find your nearest Area Welfare Officer, please click on the relevant area on the map.
An underline in red will highlight the contact you require to speak to in your area.
